Ghana-based health tech company Rivia has announced the acquisition of Waffle, a Ghanaian SaaS company specializing in software for small and medium-sized businesses. The acquisition brings Waffle’s hospital and inventory management software under the Rivia umbrella, which was recently rebranded as RiviaOS- a platform allowing healthcare providers to access features like appointment scheduling, a booking engine, services storefront, video consultations, e-pharmacy, e-lab, vitals capture, billing, expense, and revenue and inventory management.

MTN constructs and handover an ultra-modern Robotics Centre to the Mamfe Methodist Girls
MTN Ghana Foundation motivated by the accomplishments of the students of Mamfe Methodist Girls Senior High School in STEM and robotics, has constructed and handed over an ultra-modern Robotics Centre at GHC 2.2M to the school. The Robotics center comprises, among others, a 100-seater hall with partitions for robotics training and practice, a research room with computers for teachers and students, robotics equipment, furniture and internet access.
