CSA Warns Unlicenced Cybersecurity Providers
The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has cautioned Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSPs), Cybersecurity Establishments (CEs) and Cybersecurity Professionals (CPs) who provide cybersecurity services or perform cybersecurity-related professional functions without accreditation or licence by the Authority, indicating that providing such services without the requisite licence or accreditation, from the Authority, is in contravention of the Cybersecurity Act, Sections 49 and 57 of Act 1038, 2020 which attracts sanction.

Kodu Technology Secures $50,000 as winner of the 2024 GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition.
Kodu Technology, a startup addressing key challenges in rural communities—period poverty and agricultural waste—has secured one of the grand prizes, $50,000, in the 2024 GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition. Founded in 2022, Kodu Technology specializes in producing biodegradable sanitary pads made from banana and plantain fibers.
Naamgwinaa Technologies Led by Samuel Naamgwimaa, an Electrical Engineering student from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), has been named the winner of the 2024 National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP) Presidential Pitch. The startup developed the Smart Switch, an innovative device that optimizes energy management and automation for homes, businesses, and public infrastructure. - capable of controlling everything from room lighting and streetlights to cars and air conditioners.
